The race to be the fastest on the globe.Since Buggati Chiron broke the 300MPH or 500kmph barrier, fans have been wanting others to do the same and the first name that comes to everyones mind is Koenigsegg, the swedish automaker and the french giant have locked horns for almost 2 decades now grappling for the title of the fastest production car on the planet.

In 2017 when Chiron showed off its accelerating and braking capabilites by putting up a 0-400-0 time, Koenigsegg smashed it with the Agera RS by almost 5 seconds. The Agera outdid itself when it broke the same record and dozens others on its record run in the Nevada , where it stole the title of the fastest car from the Veryon supersport.
Infact the car that the Veyron beat way back in 2005 was the Koenigsegg CCR, infact the show has been going on for some time now, both companies have different approaches, Buggati just uses brute power and extreme engineering while Koenigsegg uses new techniques . The fact that one used a W16 quad turbo and the other uses a V6 bi turbo to produce comparable amounts of energy speaks volumes about the makers ideals.
With the release of the newest Koenigsegg Jesko, which had been touted to be the 500 barrier breaker until Buggati sneaked in and stole the crown beforehand, what is left to see is how far these two legendary automakers would go to be the king of SPEED!
